Problems with the Idea of Nature in Human Enhancement

The issue of human enhancement, discussed in the field of philosophy and bioethics, is an important thesis that encompasses the nature of medicine, health and disease, doctor-patient relations, and human nature. First, I will look at the definition of enhancement and related issues (the issue of distinction from treatment), and emphasize that the "concept of nature" plays an important role in favor of and against enhancement. The idea of nature is involved in arguments about health and disease, treatment and augmentation, facts and values, and is also related to moral and ethical judgments about phenomena. Next, focusing on the discussion of bioethics Michael Sandel and Allen Buchanan, I will outline the representative pros and cons of enhancement, and present objections to each side. Therefore, I will point out that there are limitations in both the existing positions for and against enhancement. To solve this problem, I will suggest new ontology of looking at nature surrounding human.
